Hands coding tasks to Google's Jules agent via its CLI or REST API; needs a Google login
Fungerar med konfiguration
Vad den gör
Teaches Claude Code to delegate coding work — bug fixes, tests, docs, refactors, PR reviews — to Google's Jules asynchronous agent, either through the `@google/jules` CLI or the `jules.googleapis.com/v1alpha/sessions` REST API. It covers repo auto-detection, session creation, polling until completion, and pulling the resulting diff back into a local branch or PR. Triggers on phrasings like "have Jules fix", "delegate to Jules", "check Jules sessions", or "pull Jules results".
Testrapport
Cloned the repo and installed skills/jules into a throwaway HOME; the single 8.5KB SKILL.md parsed with name+description, referenced no local files, and contained no hardcoded paths or security smells (no curl|sh, no base64, no secret exfiltration). I verified every external reference it names: npm @google/jules returned 200 (v0.1.42), jules.googleapis.com/v1alpha/sessions returned a live 401 UNAUTHENTICATED, and jules.google.com/settings returned 200. I actually installed the CLI into an isolated npm prefix and ran `jules --help` — every subcommand the skill documents exists (`new --repo/--parallel`, `remote list --session/--repo`, `remote pull --session --apply`, `teleport`, `login`) — and its repo auto-detect sed one-liner correctly printed "sanjay3290/ai-skills" in a git repo and nothing outside one. I could not measure output: `jules remote list --repo` in a clean HOME failed with "did you forget to login?", and creating a session needs a Google account OAuth or a JULES_API_KEY I do not have, so no delegated task could be run and no skill-vs-baseline artifact pair exists. Trigger phrasings judged: SHOULD fire — "Have Jules fix the auth timeout bug in src/auth.ts" (load), "Check my Jules sessions and pull the results into a branch" (load), "Delegate adding unit tests for the payments module to the async coding agent and open a PR" (load); SHOULD NOT fire — "Fix the auth timeout bug in src/auth.ts" (no load, I just fix it), "Add unit tests for the payments module" (no load, the description is gated on the Jules name plus delegation intent) — 5/5 correct. Docs lose a point because the API payload fields (automationMode AUTO_CREATE_PR, requirePlanApproval) are unverifiable without a key and the session-state table has a truncated "Awaiting User F" label.
