This skill is no longer available upstream. Our re-check on Aug 10, 2026 couldn't find it any more (SKILL.md not found in repo tree). The test below is what we measured on Jul 16, 2026 and we're leaving it up as a record — but there is nothing left to install, so we've removed the command.

Ran a real baseline-vs-skill R data task: both produced correct per-category means, but the skill's ggplot2/readr/dplyr pipeline output a 300dpi colored bar chart with a legend vs. the baseline's plain low-res base-R barplot. The top-level SKILL.md's own sub-skill table lists only 12 of the 16 actual sub-skill directories (r-syntax, r-language-api, r-logging, r-learning are undocumented there), and the repo ships unused skill-creator placeholder files (scripts/example.py, assets/example_asset.txt).

Scored on four weighted criteria — install, triggering, output vs. baseline, docs. How scoring works

  • Installs cleanly 5/5
  • Triggers reliably 5/5
  • Output vs. baseline 7/10
  • Docs & honesty 4/5

What R Analytics does

Reference-style skill for running R scripts, installing packages, and doing data manipulation/visualization with tidyverse, dplyr, and ggplot2. Triggers on explicit R/tidyverse/ggplot mentions (including Chinese keywords) and pulls in one of 358 nested sub-skill SKILL.md files for domain-specific packages (spatial, bio, ML, network, etc.) when needed.

How to install R Analytics

Nothing to install: the source repository no longer has this skill. If the author brings it back, our daily re-check will pick it up and the command will reappear here.

Commands — how to trigger R Analytics

  • /r-analytics R workflow cheat sheet plus 358 nested sub-skill files for tidyverse, ggplot2, stats, and ML.

It also activates on plain-language prompts like these:

  • Compute the mean value per category from this CSV and plot it
  • Help me install and use ggplot2 to visualize this dataset
  • Write an R script that summarizes and charts my survey data

Frequently asked questions

Is the R Analytics skill free?
Yes. The skill itself is free from LeoLin990405/r-analytics-skill. SkillProof publishes the install command and an independent test verdict at no cost.
Does R Analytics work with Claude Code?

8.4/10 — installs cleanly 5/5, triggers reliably 5/5, output vs. baseline 7/10, docs & honesty 4/5.
How do I install R Analytics?
Copy the install command from this page, run it in your terminal, and restart Claude Code. Skills live in ~/.claude/skills/ (global) or .claude/skills/ inside a project.
Can I use R Analytics with Cursor, Copilot, Gemini CLI, Codex or other AI tools?
The SKILL.md format is native to Claude (Claude Code, Desktop, claude.ai). The instructions inside adapt to other assistants: Cursor rules, GitHub Copilot instructions, Windsurf rules, Custom GPTs, AGENTS.md for OpenAI Codex, and GEMINI.md for Google Gemini CLI — our conversion guides cover each, and the free converter on the tools page does the wrapping for you.
