⚠ This skill is no longer available upstream. Our re-check on Aug 10, 2026 couldn't find it any more (repo unreachable/deleted). The test below is what we measured on Jul 30, 2026 and we're leaving it up as a record — but there is nothing left to install, so we've removed the command.
Reframed the same five demands twice — once cold, once following the skill — and scored both mechanically: the cold version still carried 10 pieces of demand language and 5 guilt constructs with zero autonomy or choice markers, while the skill version had none of either and 8 autonomy acknowledgments, 6 genuine-choice constructs and 3 honestly named constraints. The clearest difference was the non-negotiable one, a 5am airport run: the cold rewrite just softened the tone and slipped back into "I really need you to be ready on time", whereas the skill's Boundaries rule produced a stated hard limit plus real choice about everything around it. The cost is length, roughly three times the words. No scripts, no network, no dependencies — 289 lines of guidance that install as a single folder and work anywhere Claude reads skills.
Scored on four weighted criteria — install, triggering, output vs. baseline, docs. How scoring works
- Installs cleanly 5/5
- Triggers reliably 5/5
- Output vs. baseline 8/10
- Docs & honesty 4/5
What PDA Reframing does
A prose playbook that rewrites instructions and requests so they are less likely to trigger the demand avoidance of someone with a PDA autism profile, using seven named strategies (choice architecture, collaborative problem-solving, curiosity, indirect framing, partnership, time flexibility, autonomy acknowledgment) plus a five-step procedure. Triggers when you mention PDA, demand avoidance, or ask how to phrase a task for a child, partner or colleague without it landing as an order. Also works on your own internal 'I should' self-talk.
How to install PDA Reframing
Nothing to install: the source repository no longer has this skill. If the author brings it back, our daily re-check will pick it up and the command will reappear here.
