Ran the bundled generator on a frontmatter-tagged markdown file: it produced a valid EPUB3 (correct mimetype, content.opf, nav.xhtml, toc.ncx), split two chapters from H1 headers into a nested TOC, pulled title/author from YAML frontmatter, and rendered the table with a styled header plus syntax-highlighted code. The no-skill markdown2+ebooklib baseline made a single flat document with the raw frontmatter leaked into the body, one flat TOC entry, and the table left unrendered. Needs a one-time pip install of ebooklib/Pygments to run.
