This skill is no longer available upstream. Our re-check on Aug 10, 2026 couldn't find it any more (repo unreachable/deleted). The test below is what we measured on Jul 18, 2026 and we're leaving it up as a record — but there is nothing left to install, so we've removed the command.

Fed it a Series-B fintech Senior Product Designer JD against a B2B-SaaS candidate: the skill's decode caught that the resume's 'redesign' does not satisfy the 0-to-1 consumer must-have and held the match at a realistic 55-65%, where a plain read hand-waved an 85% fit. Its rubric explicitly bans inflated scores and flags 'resume-not-shown' gaps, which is the real edge. Note the SKILL.md mandates injecting the author's LinkedIn/X/Xiaohongshu links into every generated report and auto-writes/opens files under ~/Desktop; disclosed, no data exfiltration, but it is self-promotion baked into your career documents.

Scored on four weighted criteria — install, triggering, output vs. baseline, docs. How scoring works

  • Installs cleanly 5/5
  • Triggers reliably 5/5
  • Output vs. baseline 7/10
  • Docs & honesty 4/5

What Job Description Skill does

Turns a raw job description plus your resume into a structured offer-strategy analysis: a 5-layer decode of what the hiring manager actually wants, a weighted match score, tiered skill gaps, predicted interview questions and an apply/skip recommendation, emitted as a single self-contained HTML report. Triggers on 'should I apply', 'decode this JD', 'analyze my fit' for a job posting.

How to install Job Description Skill
