⚠ This skill is no longer available upstream. Our re-check on Aug 10, 2026 couldn't find it any more (repo unreachable/deleted). The test below is what we measured on Jul 15, 2026 and we're leaving it up as a record — but there is nothing left to install, so we've removed the command.
Ran it live against the real Notes.app: listing/search worked perfectly, but the documented 'quick add with title' syntax (`memo notes -a "Title"`) throws 'unexpected extra argument' on the real 0.6.0 CLI — actual note creation only works through an interactive Vim-based editor requiring a real TTY, which failed headlessly in this test.
Scored on four weighted criteria — install, triggering, output vs. baseline, docs. How scoring works
- Installs cleanly 5/5
- Triggers reliably 5/5
- Output vs. baseline 3/10
- Docs & honesty 2/5
What Apple Notes does
Wraps the third-party `memo` CLI to list, search, and manage Apple Notes and folders from the terminal on macOS. Triggers on requests to add, list, search, move, or export notes; requires Homebrew-installing `memo` separately since it's not bundled.
How to install Apple Notes
Nothing to install: the source repository no longer has this skill. If the author brings it back, our daily re-check will pick it up and the command will reappear here.
