Ba om scripts on 'using AI to write meeting minutes' with and without the skill, then measured both by character count at 5 characters per second of Chinese voiceover. Without it: one script, ~139 characters, about 28 seconds – under the platform sweet spot, with no framework, no shot list and no runtime, and it closed by asking a follow-up question instead of delivering. With it: five distinct angles, all five landing inside the stated 30-45 second window (40-44s), every one carrying all eight required blocks, a hook of 4-5 seconds, and a call to action. The reference library is the reason it works – framework.md ships three narrative structures with beat-level time budgets and triggers.md has a table of hook formulas the skill actually pulls from. Two caveats: references/hot.md, billed as a trend library, is eight undated keyword strings, so the trend-jacking angle is thin; and the READMEs own install command fails twice over (it names a directory that does not exist in the repo and copies into ~/.codex/skills/ without creating it).
